| QSeven module measures 2.8” x 2.8” (70x70mm). It is a computer-on-module (COM) standard for smaller size and highly integrated industrial computing systems. BCM's EQM-BSW (Braswell Platform) and EQM-BYT2 (Baytrail Platform) QSeven modules support Intel Atom low power processors with onboard memory and storage. Instead of
the traditional board-to-board connectors like the other COM Express modules use, the QSeven
module transfers all the major signals and essential interfaces to the carrier board via the golden
fingers located at the PCB edge. The design enables easy hardware installation and easy core
system upgrade as well as cost reduction on board-to-board connection interfaces. With the
features of ultra small form factor, flexibility of I/O implementation, cost down and quick time-to-market,
the EQM-BSW and EQM-BYT2 QSeven modules are ideal solutions for mobile and handheld devices for medical, retail,
gaming, and industrial market segments. |
