BCM Advanced Research is proud to introduce the MX945GM Mini ITX motherboard which supports the latest Intel® Core™ Solo/Duo, Core™ 2 Duo, Celeron® M (65nm) Socket M CPUs. This board utilizes the Intel® Mobile 82945GM GMCH and ICH7M chipsets supporting 533/667MHz front side bus and one DIMM slot for up to 2GB Non ECC system memory.

The MX945GM's onboard graphic, Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 950, is an intelligent and responsive graphics engine built into the 945GM chipset that supports the resolution for up to 2048 x 1536 at 32bpp (75Hz), dual channel 18-bit LVDS and single channel dual display through VGA and LVDS connectors.

With one in the rear I/O and four accessible via the onboard header, the five COM ports provide port-to-port communication between the hardware and multiple devices for more secure protection in data transaction. MX945GM’s other I/Os include four USB ports, two SATA connectors, one parallel port and one 16-bit GPIO. For the expansion interface, the MX945GM has one PCI Express x16 and one PCI slot onboard.

MX945GM features 7.1 channel high definition audio, supported by Realtek®’s ALC888 AC’97 Codec chip. In addition to the Mic-in, Line-in and Line-out audio interface, this board also supports SPDIF for higher quality audio. (SPDIFcable is optional.)

Two Gigabit Ethernet interfaces (RJ-45) on the back I/O are supported by two Intel® 82573L chips.

MX945GM’s dimensions are 6.7” x 6.7” and weighs only 0.88 pounds. It is a RoHS Compliant (lead-free) motherboard. With BCM’s R&D development team in the US, we are able to customize the MX945GM motherboard into a small size barebone or a complete industrial PC system.

The MX945GM's low power consumption and high performance is especially ideal for today's embedded application needs such as DVR Servers, lighting control equipment, panel PCs, bingo machines, wireless communication systems, Kiosk, GPS, POS and ATM or any application that requires a small footprint, high performance solution.
