BCM Advanced Research is proud to announce the release of our latest multi featured Mini ITX (6.7” x 6.7”) motherboard- MX855E. MX855E supports Intel® Pentium® M and Celeron® M with mPGA 478 socket or onboard BGA 479 CPU. This board utilizes Intel® RG82855GME GMCH and Intel® FW82801DB ICH4 chipsets and running with 400MHz front side bus speed. MX855E has one DIMM socket supports up to 1GB DDR 266/333 SDRAM system memory with ECC supported.

The MX855E features an 18-bit Dual Channel, Dual View LVDS output for LCD panels with LCD mode resolution up to 1600 x 1200 @ 32 bpp (85Hz). The TV-Out function has Chrontel CH7009A TV encoder supporting both NTSC/PAL modes, also supporting S-Video and Composite Video. This board has one DB-15 VGA connector supporting the CRT mode resolution up to 1600 x 1200 @ 32 bpp (85Hz). MX855E features optional built-in touch screen with 9-pin 2mm box header and supported by PenMount DMC9000 chipset. The 5.1 channel audio is supported by VIA VT1616 AC’97 Codec. Two of the Realtek® RTL8110S Gigabit Ethernet interfaces are provided as one of the great features of this board.

MX855E has three expansion interfaces: one Mini PCI slot, one PCI slot and one Compact Flash socket. MX855E also has advanced onboard I/O which includes FOUR COM ports, 16-bit GPIO, four IDE and 6 USB 2.0 ports.
