BCM’s BV945GL ATX motherboard now supports Trusted Platform Modules (TPMs) function via onboard header and Windows Vista BitLocker™ Drive Encryption. TPMs are integrated chips built into the variety hardware platforms to enable strong machine attestation and user authentication. It is designed to prevent inappropriate access to confidential information and enhance digital data protection, high-level security encryption/decryption and platform integrity. Please be advised that TPM is not supported on the standard BV945GL and is a special order item.
TPM is becoming a recognized security feature within industrials such as the government (DoD, DoS), gaming, finance/banking, and data centers that handle sensitive or classified information. With this advanced security feature, the BV945GL ATX is an ideal solution for businesses where trustworthy electronic transactions are required everyday.
The BV945GL utilizes the Intel 945G chipset and supports Intel Core 2 Duo CPUs up to 2.66 GHz and 1066 MHz FSB. It has PCIe x16, PCIe x1 and five PCI slots for extended functions. It also has four onboard SATA to support multiple hard drive/CD/DVD drive devices.
