The MX57QM is based on Intel®’s latest two-chip platform. By integrating the new Mobile Intel QM57 Express chipset and socket 989 together, the MX57QM supports Intel® Core™ series i7, i5 and i3 multi-core intelligent processors providing industry-leading performance, excellence graphics, and enhanced memory and I/O bandwidth. The board has two sockets support dual channel DDR3 SO-DIMM up to 8 GB system memory.
The MX57QM supports dual display through onboard HDMI, DVI, 18/24-bit dual channel LVDS and standard VGA interfaces. The HDMI delivers uncompressed HD video and multi-channel audio quality and supports all HD 720p, 1080i and 1080p formats.
The MX57QM also supports Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 1.2 serving as security guard to confine confidential data in a secure vault in the computer with strict trustworthy encryption and decryption protection processes. This feature will benefit applications such as ATM machines and public Kiosks such as airline check-in kiosks with access to sensitive and critical information where protection is required.
The MX57QM meets the requirements of a broad range of embedded applications such as Kiosk, Point-of-Sale (POS), industrial automation equipment, all-in-one Panel PC, human machine interface (HMI) terminals, and media rich digital signage applications. It is an ideal solution for retail, gaming, medical, and industrial control markets.
