Due to popular market demand for a high performance, small form factor, long-life industrial motherboard with traditional ATX power support, BCM announced that the MX45GM2 has been added to our standard inventory product list!

The MX45GM2 is identical to the current DC powered MX45GM Mini ITX motherboard in terms of features, I/O, and layout with the exception of  operating via ATX power supplies.  The MX45GM2 delivers the same outstanding performance as the MX45GM but with a reduction in cost by removing the DC power circuitry.

Except the product features mentioned below, the MX45GM2 offers built-in Intel® Active Management Technology 4.0 (Intel® AMT 4.0) enabling remote management capability for IT specialist to perform instant maintenance in order to shorten the system down time and save the cost of on-site repair.  The Infineon Trusted Platform Module 1.2 (TPM 1.2) is supported for secure data protection.  The MX45GM2 also supports Intel® Trusted Execution Technology (Intel® TXT), a versatile set of hardware extensions to Intel® processors and chipsets that enhance the platform with security capabilities, providing hardware-based mechanisms that help protect against software-based attacks and protects the confidentiality and integrity of data stored or created on the system.  These features are special benefits for enterprise, banking, gaming, and financial related applications.
