PCN for the MX45GM Mini ITX motherboard. This PCN makes permanent in the PCB a previous component modification to improve the reliability of the MX45GM motherboard returning to a power-on ready state after a sudden loss of power and resumption of power within a short interval that is currently shipping today.
This change has been thoroughly evaluated to ensure there are no quality, reliability, functional, or driver implications to our customers. BCM is not recommending customers to perform additional qualification of these changes.
The MX45GM is a small form factor, high performance, industrial motherboard designed with an Intel® Socket P and the Mobile Intel® GM45/ICH9M-E Chipsets architecture. The Socket P supports Intel® Core™ 2 Extreme, Core™ 2 Quad and 45nm Core™ 2 Duo processors with Front Side Bus speed from 667, 800 and 1066 MHz. The Intel® GM45 chipset integrates the Intel® GMA 4500MHD Graphics Engine delivering Blu-ray capable HD video playback and high resolution 3D graphics with dual display capable configuration via HDMI, DVI, LVDS and VGA outputs.
The MX45GM supports Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 1.2 and Intel® Active Management Technology (iAMT) 4.0. The TPM feature provides the functions of hard drive encryption enhancing security protection. The Intel® Active Management Technology makes it easier for IT technicians to maintain, repair or upgrade the computer through network communications from the remote locations at any time even if the computer is turned off.

- BIOS PCN: This notice is to inform you of a pending BIOS change for the RX35Q. This BIOS change involves updating the CPU micro code in the BIOS to support the latest CPUs released that compatible with the Q35 chipset.
- Hardware PCN: This notice is to inform you of a pending component value to change to make the RX35Q compatible with a broader range of power supplies.

PCN for the RX945G Micro ATX motherboard changing the audio Codec from ALC882 to ALC888 due to component change from the manufacturer. This change will not impact the BIOS but will have driver implications. For customers using Microsoft® Windows® OS, BCM recommends updating audio driver to version R1.60 or above. EOL Notifications IN915GVE; BC875PLG-LF; BC845DL; IN845GV, IN845GV-LF. As a result of the Intel PCN #109587 giving notice to discontinue the Intel 8 series chipsets and 915GV chipsets, BCM is announcing the end of life for below product(s) associated with these chipsets. Some of these products were previously declared EOL but were available on a build-to-order (BTO) basis and that BTO status will also end.
In order to ensure we are able to meet your current and future requirements for the above product(s) BCM requires a NCNR PO no later than July 1, 2010 with Last Ship Date of those products no later than December 31, 2011. For those products previously announced EOL, but still available on a build-to-order basis, the minimum order quantities still apply.
