| 2007 - Present | February 2007, BCM's parent company, Evalue Technology, Inc., officially announced the change of the company name to Avalue Technology, Inc. The change from Evalue to Avalue is to demonstrate a whole new brand image and our determination of seeking after greater achievements. BCM Advanced Research is now an Avalue Company. |
| 2006 | July 2006, BCM Advanced Research announced that it has entered into a Letter of Agreement to be purchased by Evalue Technology, Inc. ("Evalue"), a world-class provider of embedded single board computers (SBC), SOM-ETX, long-life motherboards, PC/104, Panel PCs, and Barebone systems.
The merging of the two companies creates one of the industry’s broadest offerings of embedded computing products and industrial motherboards from a single company with engineering design and support expertise across the entire product line. This merger is expected to yield many positive results to both Evalue and BCM customers offering more products, enhanced design services, and superior local support. |
| 2005 | BCM Taipei Asia Sales Branch Established. BCM extends our business territory to Asia including Japan, Malaysia and Singapore. |
| 2004 | BCM becomes one of the Intel ICA Partners and starts to offer Intel Xscale Platform products. |
| 2000 | Year 2000, BCM separated from GVC and became an independent industrial motherboard design and manufacture company and focus on vertical market application for embedded and industrial design. |
| 1996 | BCM merged with GVC International (Taiwan) in 1996. GVC International was a strategic supplier of computer technology to many of the worldwide OEM leaders in the computer industry. With ISO 9001 world class facilities in Taiwan, Mainland China, Philippines and soon North America and Europe, GVC has the ability to provide high quality, low cost, volume and flexibility to support the growth of the industry into the next century.
With the merger, BCM extended our product line to focus on designing and manufacturing the Desktop PC & Server motherboards. |
| 1990 | BCM Advanced Research US headquarter was founded in April 1990 in southern california. In the same year, BCM factory was also established in Tao-Yuan, Taiwan.
Together, with the supports by our local R&D engineering and enthusiast sales team in the United States, and the fully supportive production line in Asia, BCM was able to provide our OEM customers a competitive advantage and helps control the “cost-of-ownership” every OEM faces as they support their products. BCM grew rapidly to become one of the worldwide suppliers of OEM/ODM motherboard design and manufacture since then. |
